LAA aims to create an environment where everyone involved feels safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential in track & field. 

 

Welfare covers a range of issues such as safeguarding and protecting children, anti-bullying, equity, poor practice in coaching as well as disciplinary and grievance matters.

LAA welfare encompasses policies and procedures which set out standards.​ LAA works with England Athletics to meet their statutory responsibilities.

LAA takes its responsibilities towards the welfare of young people very seriously. We wish to ensure a fun and safe environment for athletes, parents/carers and coaches.

Should you have any concerns about your child, a coach or other children at the track please contact our qualified Welfare Officer.
