On Sunday, September 17th, Edmondscote Athletics Track was alive with the sound of cheers, laughter, and athletic prowess as we hosted the LAA Quadrathlon, a family fun day filled with sports, music, and fantastic food. This event was open to athletes from school years 1-8, and it was a day to remember.
A Day Packed with Excitement
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Edmondscote Athletics Track was thriving with activity. Children and parents alike gathered for a day of friendly competition and community fun. Here's how the event was structured:

But it wasn't just about the sports. We had plenty of entertainment and treats in store for everyone. Thom Kirkpatrick provided live music to keep the energy high throughout the day. And when it was time for a caffeine boost, the Real Awesome Coffee Van was there to serve you. Dough and Brew catered delicious food to keep you fueled and ready for action.
For the young and the young at heart, we had free inflatables to bounce around on and a glitter stand to add some extra sparkle to your day.
Family Involvement at Its Best
At the LAA Quadrathlon, we believe in family involvement. That's why we organised parents' events and a family relay. It was a chance for parents, grandparents, and children to come together, bond, and have a great time.
