WANT TO COMPETE?
Great, we are delighted you want to test yourself. Here is what you need to know if your child is over 8 years old.

NEW TO COMPETITION?
You will need to affiliate to LAA (£20) and receive your Unique Reference Number (URN) just email us - info@leamingtonathletics.co.uk You will then receive your URN which you use to enter events.

COMPETED BEFORE?
You will need to renew your affiliation for April 25/26. Just let us know by email and we will add the cost (£20) to your next monthly payment.

LAA COMPETITIONs
We are holding a ‘Parents Evening’ in the clubhouse next week, just for 10 minutes and at the start of each session, so you can ask us anything about competing.

Keeping Up-to-Date

Head Coach Rachel loves to learn new ways to deliver athletics and today she went to the Alexander Stadium to learn the latest about sprinting.

James Hudson from @nutrition.for.energy also gave a really insightful talk.

Several LAA athletes also went and worked hard all day...they may all be a little sore for training this week!

two fantastic results this weekend coming from our athletes fable and Thomas.

Fable Nash came 10th today in the XC Nationals at Stoneleigh !!!!! 10th !!!!! In the whole country in year 5 🫨
AND
Tom Heather-Green has qualified to run in London Mini Marathon as part of the West Midlands team on 26th April

Phenomenal effort from both boys, well done !!

ATHLETE SHOUT OUTS! 🏃 🏃‍♀️

Here are some pictures of what has happened!
Our Fantastic Fable won the Warwickshire country championships year 5 Boys at the Pingles today!
He will be selected for the Warwickshire team to go to the
nationals next week 22nd of March at Stoneleigh Park.
AND
Sam Robbins raced in a Podium 5K event in Leicester today and smashed his PB completing the course in a time of 17:48 minutes

ALSO IN ACTION⬇️
Lola and Daisy Golding raced at English Schools Cross Country today in West Sussex . The challenging hilly course made all the harder for Lola who lost a shoe at the start and raced the route without !!

INTER COUNTIES XC 🏃🏻‍♂️

Tom Green and Lola Golding both raced in the Inter Counties XC race today in Nottingham with teams racing from as far as Scotland and Wales. They both did exceptionally well!
Lola finished - 177/308
Tom finished - 34/313

Beautiful day for racing!!

Here are a few photographs from this morning’s central Warwickshire primary cross country race. With the backdrop of Warwick Castle and in perfect sunshine, there were over 360 children racing today .

Thanks to parents teachers and team managers for supporting the event.Thanks also to our Marshalls and race referee Noel Butler for helping make the day so successful.

CENTRAL WARWICKSHIRE PRIMARY CROSS COUNTRY ‼️

We can’t wait to see our local school teams compete in our final area race this Saturday at Myton Fields.🏃‍♀️

Thai race will also help us select those who will represent Warwickshire in the championship race at The Pingles on the 15th March.🏟️

7 years and 27 cross country races later and Sam runs his last West Mids league race . That’s a lot of mud!!
